  • Responsibilities



    This position is part of a Disaster Recovery team.   We are not first responders, but when natural disasters strike (e.g.., hurricanes, earthquakes, flood waters, tornados, fires, etc.) our team fully engages as part of the recovery process to help restore the communities. Our primary focus is working with homeowners in the restoration of their houses and property.


    This position will begin as an “on-call/as-needed” basis, with strong probability of converting to a regular, full-time position with full employee benefits which include (but are not limited to) medical, prescription, dental, vision, FSA, 401k with employer matching, paid holidays, and paid leave.


    We are looking for individuals who are willing, able, and readily available to be a part of this team, who can report for work on short notice and remain engaged throughout the recovery efforts for varying periods of time. Occasional travel to disaster sites may be needed.   In such case, the company covers travel expenses, i.e., travel, per diem (food and lodging). Where reimbursements are provided, they will be provided directly to the individual and in a timely fashion.



    Position Summary:


    The IT Specialist will assist with end user support requests and a variety of ongoing IT projects. We are looking for a candidate with fundamental PC and networking experience who will be a strong contributing member to the team.


    • Installs, configures, and supports desktop and laptop workstations, software, printers, peripherals, etc., which includes Microsoft Office Suite and other various Windows hosted applications.
    • Provides end users support for workstation operating system, hardware and network issues.
    • Provides support for Microsoft Office Suite, web browsers, anti-virus, file management, and back-up system.
    • Installs, configures upgrades, maintains, repairs or replaces, and documents hardware and software systems.
    • Installs and configures network equipment and network infrastructure wiring.
    • Ensures customer satisfaction through workstation systems integrity and reliability.
    • Works on multiple projects simultaneously and provides periodic after-hour support for system upgrades to ensure business continuity.
    • Perform Remote Deployment for software.
    • Create scripts to maintain end points.
    • Must be able to Setup and Configure Virtual Networks.
    • Backup & Disaster Recovery planning and implementation.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.


    Associates degree in computer science or related field with minimum 4 years of related experience, or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with a minimum of 2 years related experience.
