    The Institute for Building Technology and Safety is currently seeking an energetic and eager Customer Service Representative (Full-Time) who has above-average interpersonal skills and is able to work in a fast-paced production environment.  The position involves customer service, data management, and basic accounting.

    • Answer call center calls, process requests, and work with customers to resolve issues and answer queries
    • Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
    • Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
    • Maintain records and databases
    • Conduct database searches, performing quality assurance and reviewing images
    • Prepare reports
    • Handle time-sensitive processes and sensitive material
    • Perform accurate data entry
    • Scan and Index documents
    • Print and mail documents
    • Maintain publications inventories
    • Follow direction from supervisor
    • Participate in cross-training
    • Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality in order to coordinate with integrated services team
    • Performing other tasks as assigned


    Education, Skills, and Experience

    •  College education or 2+ years of experience in a customer service role.
    •  Above average communication skills; experience and comfort in speaking with customers from a wide variety of backgrounds
    • Excellent customer focus, attitude, and interpersonal skills
    • Experience with Microsoft Windows applications
    • Knowledge and understanding of computers and computer peripheral devices
    • Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
    • Basic accounting and budgeting knowledge, or the capacity to learn
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills
    • High attention to detail
    • Accuracy and thoroughness (technically and ethically)
    • Flexibility in managing day-to-day workload with the ability to handle unexpected assignments
